Apeiron Hotel And Residences Planned At Jockey Club

Ritz Carlton’s former CEO is working on a luxury hotel and residential project at the Jockey Club.

Apeiron Miami, LLC submitted plans yesterday to Dade County for a 240-unit residential project with 90 hotel rooms at 11111 Biscayne Boulevard.

A website for the project states that the tower will include serviced residences that range in size from 1,500 SF to over 4,500 SF, along with the hotel units. Amenities will include a 38-slip mega-yacht deep-water marina, 5-acre health and wellness facility, tennis courts, outdoor pools, and recreational facilities.

Records show that the company closed on the land last July, and was assigned a lease to operate a marina on submerged land several months later.

Apeiron is led by former Ritz Carlton CEO Horst Schulze. Other executives include Michael Bedner and Muayad Abbas. The word Apeiron means ‘unlimited’ or ‘infinite’ in Greek.

Prompt Collective, a design firm based in Barcelona, Spain, posted a rendering of Apeiron on their website, but it isn’t clear if it is the final product.
